Just three months before 2010, we're winding up the year with the Responsible Tourism Conference in Belize and a fair trade event in Oaxaca. Behind the scenes there is preparation for the Indigenous Tourism and Biodiversity Website Award and a Maori conference in New Zealand. Looking ahead, we'll be focusing on biodiversity in 2010 and greening tourism in major cities, including Cancun, Las Vegas, Melbourne, Queenstown and Quito.

Google has a new tool -- http://planeta.wikispaces.com/tools -- for translation that makes websites available in multiple languages.

We're testing this out on the the home page -- http://www.planeta.com -- and the wiki -- http://planeta.wikispaces.com

Finally! Planeta.com is available in Afrikaans, Chinese, Norwegian, Spanish and Welsch. I suspect in ten years this service will be commonplace and the options will include Maori, Mixe and Zapotec!
