EcoAméricas relies solely on subscriptions. It accepts no paid advertising or grants, and is not beholden to any government, industry or nonprofit organizations. Correspondents, meanwhile, are experienced in providing thorough, firsthand reporting on Latin America.

Published by Fourth Street Press, an independent corporation in Santa Monica, California, EcoAméricas provides continuing, objective coverage at a time when reporting on Latin American environmental issues has been piecemeal at best and too often biased by competing agendas.

The subscription includes 12 monthly issues, the annual Guide to Latin American Environmental Agencies and online access to current and back issues in English and Spanish.
