The Sixth Annual Mushroom Fair in Cuajimoloyas, Sierra Norte, Oaxaca is to be held August 12 and 13, 2006.
Los Pueblos Mancomunados y su agencia San Antonio Cuajimoloyas, te invitan a la VI Feria Regional de hongos y de otros productos no maderables los dias 12 y 13 de Agosto de 2006.

The fair starts at 10 am on Saturday in Cuajimoloyas (a local bus starts from the bus station at the Central de Abastos en Oaxaca City).
The fee is to cover the costs of the event and helps maintain the natural resources and related community projects.

La cuota de recuperación se dedica a mantener los recursos y proyectos de esta comunidad. |

Here are some photos of the successful 2006 mushroom fair. There was a good visitor turnout and many mushrooms. Participants enjoyed the forest mushroom walk and conferences on bromelias, mushrooms, rural tourism, sustainable eco-alebrijes, oil of the zapote mamey and organic coffee from the Chinantla and Sierra Norte medicinal plants. The Sunday mushroom lunch buffet was a special highlight this year.

Algunos fotos de la exitosa feria de hongos 2006. Llegaron un buen numero de visitantes y había muchos hongos. Participantes disfrutaron una caminata de hongos con concurso de canasta diversa y conferencias sobre bromelias, hongos, turismo rural, eco-alebrijes, aceite de mamey y café orgánico de la Chinantla y plantas medicinales de la Sierra Norte. Todos disfrutaron especialmente la muestra gastronomica de hongos. |
