Transitions Abroad, a US magazine and website, presents an anthology focusing on responsible travel. The handbook includes more than a dozen features and was first presented at the Responsible Tourism Forum held last month in Baltimore.

Directory update

For the past several years the U.S.-based Transitions Abroad magazine has featured the Responsible Travel Directory. Listings are free and written by the Transitions Abroad editors.

In an effort to update and improve the annual directory, Planeta.com and Transitions Abroad have created a Responsible Travel Resource Application Form.

This week of 18th May is when the Third International Conference on Responsible Tourism in Destinations was due to be held in Belize, it has had to be postponed because of the flu pandemic and a ban on public gatherings by the government of Belize.
