Excellent topic idea. Two questions:
1) What the should the topic be called?
2) Is this for ongoing discussion or something to be conducted for a finite period, say 2-3 months?
Suggestions?

Gender and Tourism
Dear Members,
I am currently completing my PhD at the University of Manchester, UK and would like to suggest a forum on the gender dimensions of tourism as a development strategy, and indeed tourism in general. My research into this was carried out in Central America and I would be happy to engage with interested members in the debates surrounding gender and tourism. I think this is a particularly complex and occasionally contradictory area and would be interested in opening up a space for discussion.

Proposal for Parks Forum
Hi Ron:
I am starting to have a bit more of time in CONANP, because I have a team of people working with me. I would like to take advantage of this "free time" to propose a discussion on tourism in the protected areas of Mexico to get input of several of the experts in your forum to consider in our daily work.
Best regards,
Allan Rhodes

CONANP on Internet
It is true Ron...managers are not web-savvy and many time do not have the time, but we could see to reinitiate the idea of the workshop.
Although Directors are more difficult to get, many be technical personnel are more active and interested. The question is that it would have to be in Spanish.
Originally, honestly, I was thinking I could be the one contributing information in English.
Let me check possibility of funding.
